Co-Project Manager, Hagen ERP System (Specific to Print Industry)

  • Served as 1 of 4 Team Project Managers in ERP system implementation. 
  • Coordinated schedules and activity within current team, across teams, and across multiple simultaneous implementation schedules and facilities. 
  • Staged implementation process and orchestrated crossed-over shared resources (including consultant resources), shared data, baseline ERP standards and unique ERP requirements per facility. 
  • With limited resources, limited funds, and internal customers that were resistant to change, implemented 20 facilities within 2.5 years.
  • Data Migration Project Manager and Knowledge Expert

    • Extracted all customer and supplier data from current ERP systems and migrated it to new Hagen implementations. 
    • Evaluated and determined requirement to obtain data. 
    • Scheduled and planned creation and testing of extract programs, manipulating and migrating data to format required by Hagen ERP system and ensuring resource availability. 
    • Developed key information tracking on data differences between old and new systems as required by corporate audit.
  • Help Desk Implementation Project Manager

    • Performed business requirements gathering, documentation, product selection, implementation, training and support of help desk software, C.Support by GWI. 
    • Software was designed to largely route tickets through built-in business logic. 
    • Project was critical to ERP implementation as means of support for facilities after their Hagen ERP implementation. 
    • Managed enhancement requests, upgrades, testing, training and all rollout communication. 
    • Oversaw vendor relations and all contractual matters. 
    • Continuously applied help desk product to other areas of business outside of ERP Project.
  • Project Office Initiation Utilizing Microsoft Project Server

    • Drove implementation of project server that Cenveo planned to standardize as central project management tool. 
    • Pioneered use of tool within company working to move projects and resources to project server and work with other project managers to move their project management techniques from manual processes to utilizing technology and thus project server to manage their projects. 
    • Initiated implementation for VISTA including baseline training of team resources through use of 3rd party vendors.
  • Sales Force Automation System Implementation

    • Managed successful implementation (contract phase through rollout and training) of both Sales Logix and Onyx software at 2 different printing facilities within 5 months, including integration with back-office print-industry-specific system, Hagen. 
    • Conducted highly competitive evaluation of both software solutions based on requirements and input from user community and management team. 
    • Worked with both vendors simultaneously to resolve issues, keeping these parallel projects in line with overall timeframes and budgets required. 
    • Automated manual processes and reports associated with corporate strategic initiatives to align business with Mail-Well�s Go-To-Market sales approach. 
    • Developed ROI model to be applied to remaining 35 print facilities, representing 5% increase in sales.
  • Customer Relationship Management System Implementation

    • Implemented Onyx Software CRM system within 4 months through Marketing, Sales and Customer Service with 193 regular users spanning 12 different functional groups. 
    • Defined business requirements, mapped requirements to improved business processes, and managed consulting team of 3 people to implement according to specification. 
    • Delivered significant impact to organization resulting in A to Z capture of customer information and enterprise-wide leveraging of customer interaction. 
    • Streamlined sales pipeline management to single data capture and reporting mechanism. 
    • Partnered with Technical Services to integrate Onyx into other vital corporate systems. 
    • Spoke at CRM events to discuss implementation success story for Onyx.

  • Variable Sales Compensation Process Automation and System Implementation

    • Implementation of worldwide variable sales compensation application managing compensation on annual revenue of $700+ million. 
    • Identified business requirements and business rules on �difficult to track� sales incentive programs. 
    • Managed 12-month project schedule, reduced to accomplishable daily tasks for 14-member team. 
    • Collaborated with SAP project ream designing order entry and revenue recognition data-interface. 
    • Oversaw vendor relations involving mapping of contract deliverables to real-world scenarios. 
    • Co-developed training, implementation, and data integration programs with vendor.

    • Streamlined and automated worldwide sales forecasting process allowing greater visibility and understanding to pipeline potential orders and revenue. 
    • Assumed role of project manager �mid-stream� and immediately coordinated 20+ major application changes within 3 weeks, managing concurrent changes between 3 different programmers. 
    • Rebuilt relationships between Sales and IS organizations. 
    • Initiated creation and design of interactive Web-based training certification program paving way for cost-savings on future system deployments.
  • Sales and Training System Program Implementation

    • Played integral role in creating and implementing training programs to distributors, including full-color company and product brochures and presentation story line crucial to implementation and duplication of sales training and business process flow. 
    • Sales volume doubled as result of training program implementation.
  • 4GL-Based Sales Quotation, Order Entry and Invoicing System Implementation

    • Implemented sales quotation, order entry and invoicing system in USA, Asia Pacific, Europe and Japan. 
    • Project management included coordination with 20+ different MIS and Finance personnel and up to 20 different beta testers. 
    • Implementation impacted 30+ field order administrators and 400+ sales people, sales managers, and executives worldwide. 
    • Designed training program involving 6 different training scenarios catered to different countries/cultures. Overcame cultural differences resolving business needs/conflict and establishing mutual understanding of goals and objectives. 
    • Implementation produced higher levels of automation to 20 different business processes realizing 70% reduction in errors. 
    • Wrote and published 70-page global business process/system requirements specification for sales quotation, order processing, pricing, currency management, revenue recognition, and invoicing modules.
